Jenkins 2 Released

Along with everyone else, we're very excited about the Jenkins 2 release.

Jenkins has been around for 10 years now and is the de facto industry standard.  Version 2 provides us with an opportunity for congratulation, enthusiasm, and momentum around Jenkins.  Version 2, whilst a milestone, is very much an increment.  It still looks and feels like the same old butler and is 100% compatible with all of the old plugins.  What is different is that it brings pipelines to the forefront.  You do still have to install and set this up as a plugin.

This is of course what we've been doing/offering with our managed Jenkins infrastructure where our orchestration environment sets up a sophisticated Jenkins with plugins/integrations for most of the common enterprise development and testing suites.

We also have a vast ecosystem of client-side tools for developers, testers, and systems to interact with Jenkins in best-practice software as code fashion.  Bring OpenStack software practices to your shop!
