Zenoss is a next generation, Unlegacy IT management product that improves the monitoring of service to business applications and supporting infrastructure in the dynamic datacenter. In this presentation, Alan Milligan will demonstrate the product and highlight the enterprise principals of network monitoring exemplified in the Zenoss framework. This incorporates centralised events management, agentless data collection and protocols, scalability, and virtual and physical infrastructure managment - yes - the cloud!

Alan Milligan is uniquely placed to present Zenoss because the open source architecture upon which it's based, Zope, has been the core of Last Bastion offerings for a decade. Alan will be presenting this architecture and explaining Last Bastion Network's Zenoss deployment infrastructure, the Zenoss Enterprise value proposition, and how you can migrate from expensive proprietry systems without risking the server farm.
