Splunk Inc. organised a very informative and professional event in Sydney!

Last week Splunk Inc. put on a very entertaining event at the Hilton here in Sydney.  Not only did we get the usual sales and marketing roadmap and some informative customer stories, but thanks to Damien Dallimore, Splunk's Community Manager, we got an excellent heads up regarding the development roadmap.

There was a little confusion about which breakout session(s) were supposed to have brought laptops along which was a minor disappointment in that in preparation we'd released RPM's for Splunk 5.0.2 and the Python and Ruby SDK's for BastionLinux/RHEL deployments and had thought that some hands-on was to occur.  But this was more than offset by the presentations.

I'd encourage everyone to get along to a SplunkLive event happening near you!
